The brand is an electric vehicle (EV) startup backed by marquee international investors in the mobility space. The venture is building high-quality mobility solutions designed to better the livelihoods of people around the world. The first product is an electric two-wheeler designed and built in India for the world. The brand offers multi-utility scooters designed to bring a unique style quotient. The company builds products ground up with a strong focus on design and engineering.

What’s the opportunity?

The EV startup is looking for a young and energetic brand lead who can lead the brand marketing charter. This leadership role will involve defining the brand strategy and aligning core brand positioning with all stakeholders. The brand head will also lead the planning and execution of GTM campaigns for River’s pan India launch and growth. He/She will also be given the freedom to build out brand as a well differentiated and beloved brand in the EV space.

The role is highly impactful as it takes full ownership of the brand’s overall guidelines from Day 1 and will have an enduring impact during its pre-launch phase and beyond, leading to early adoption among consumers. Our ideal brand leader will have an eye for identifying the consumer understanding of the business and distilling the same into clear messaging and campaign ideas for execution.

Job Description

  • Defining the EV brand and its positioning
  • Developing frameworks, stories, and approaches including the brand value proposition, brand architecture and strategy, messaging
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to drive integrated marketing campaigns that bring the brand to life
  • Translating business objectives into brand initiatives and goals
  • Building the brand measurement plan, ownership of brand awareness goals
  • Driving brand desire across various stakeholders including employees, partners and existing and potential customers
  • Building and managing a team of passionate brand marketers, creative professionals including agency partners.
  • Contribute to market research and data analysis to generate insights and identify opportunities
  • Collaborate with like-minded brands outside the category to establish co-sponsored and branded events or campaigns

Mandatory Requirements

– Strong brand building acumen and a strategic thinker

– Demonstrable experience of positioning a brand/company in a competitive market and winning market share

– Steady exposure or Expertise in Digital Marketing or Marketing Analytics

– Proven track record of campaign planning and execution

– Networking credentials with like-minded brand heads and agency leads/partners.

– Good eye for design and creative assets;

– Strong inclination towards sustainability

– Low ego and high intellectual curiosity.
